Ceramic objects exploring the juxtaposition of nature and the urban environment.

My work comes from exploring the structural elements of industrial architecture across South Wales and the traces left behind in the natural landscape. The structure of the pots themselves and the way I curate them aim to provoke thoughts of the urban landscape and the natural landscape through texture and material. The marks left behind from the movement of the wheel capturing a moment before things change again. Over time materials deteriorate, crumble and leach into our natural landscape creating ripples through generations, consequences we still don’t have full understanding of.
